Tim Howland

Tim Howland has had 20 years global experience in
the sports marketing sector. His experience of working with a network of
international brands and companies brings a truly global perspective to
the group.
Tim started his career with Screen Sport, the first
Pan-European cable and satellite channel, which was eventually bought out
by ESPN. He
then
moved onto Cheerleader Productions CSI (now Octagon CSI) dealing with
television production and rights and sales distribution.
He was the Sales
and Marketing Director for the Asia PGA Tour from its launch in 1995
working for the Asia Sport Group based in Dubai, Singapore
and Hong Kong, sourcing suitable commercial partners for the Tour.
He established
the European Office (London) of Asia Sport Group in 1998 as its CEO in
Europe (later became World Sport Group). There he managed
the
successful Wales Ryder Cup bid 2010 on behalf of The National Assembly
for Wales and Celtic Manor. The group also secured the commercial
and media rights for the ICC Cricket World Cups 2003 - 2007 working alongside
